1. TERMS

By accessing this app, you are agreeing to be bound by app’s Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and are agreeing to take personal responsibility for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this app. The materials contained in this app are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

2. Information We Collect

When you interact on Hate Alert we collect the information that you create, including pictures, text, and the location of the alerts that you post. All alerts are public and are publicly displayed to be viewed by all users of the app. Users decide if posts are published with their name or anonymously. We will not post anything on your behalf or without your permission.

You may choose to connect Hate Alert with Facebook, and with this will grant us access to your email as well as your profile information such as name and picture. Hate Alert will never post without your permission. Information collected from these may include:

• your first and last name;
• your profile picture or its URL;
• your user ID number (like your Facebook ID number), which may be linked to publicly-available information like your name and profile photo;
• the user ID number and other public data for your friends;
• the login e-mail you provided to that third-party application when you registered with it;
• your physical location and that of the devices you use to access our Services;
• your gender;
• your birthday and/or age range;
• information about your activities on or through the connected third-party application;
• other publicly-available information on the third-party application; and/or
• any other information that you or the provider of the third-party application share with Hate Alert

In order to post alerts on the Hate Alert app users must agree to share their location with Hate Alert. With this we will have access to your current location provided by your mobile device using GPS or similar technologies including IP address and wifi network ids.

3. Disclaimer

The materials on Hate Alert are provided "as is." Hate Alert makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Furthermore, as content on Hate Alert is posted by users, Hate Alert does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its app or otherwise relating to such materials.

Hate Alert has a zero tolerance policy for objectional content or abusive user behavior. User complaints received by the "report" functionality will be reviewed by Hate Alert staff to validate the offensive nature of the user-submitted content. Offensive content will be purged from the system and offending users will have their account terminated.

4. Limitations

In no event shall Hate Alert or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Hate Alert’s app, even if Hate Alert or a Hate Alert authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you. Due to the user-dependent nature of Hate Alert we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information posted by users and Hate Alert will not be held responsible for any false information posted to the app.

5. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on Hate Alert could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Hate Alert does not warrant that any of the materials on its app are accurate, complete, or current. Hate Alert may make changes to the materials contained on its app at any time without notice. Hate Alert does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

6. Site Terms of Use Modifications

Hate Alert may revise these terms of use for its app at any time without notice. By using this app you are agreeing to be bound by the current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

8. Hate Alert Data

Hate Alert aggregates publicly available information from white & yellow pages, social networks, online surveys, research panels, voter files, utility requests, real estate listings, and other public sources. This data is then indexed and aggregated to create a profile. We use this data to create online segments that are grouped together based on demographic or behavioral profiles. This data is used to send relevant marketing messages on behalf of our marketers using the best practice guidelines established by the Direct Marketing Association through online and offline channels. Hate Alert NEVER collects sensitive information, such as Social Security or Credit Card numbers for the purpose of sending marketing messages.

9. Cookies and Automated Information Collection

We may use cookies, pixels or similar technologies, to enhance and personalize your experience on our app. We store log files and use tracking technologies such as:

• cookies, which are small pieces of data transferred to your mobile device or computer for record-keeping purposes;
• web beacons, which let us know if a certain page was visited or whether an e-mail was opened;
• tracking pixels, which allow us or our advertising partners to advertise more efficiently and effectively We and our service providers use these log files, tags, and tracking technologies to collect and analyze certain kinds of technical information, including:
• IP addresses;
• the type of computer or mobile device you are using;
• your operating system version;
• your mobile device's identifiers, your MAC Address, Identifier For Advertising (IDFA), and/or International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI);

• the number of clicks on a page or feature;

• pages viewed and the order of those pages; and
• the amount of time spent on particular pages

The cookies do not identify you by your name or email or phone unless you have voluntarily provided this information to us. We may use cookies to show you ads about Hate Alert or one of its clients unless you explicitly opt-out below. However, when working with data partners we hash our cookies into non-human readable to ensure your privacy is maintained at all times.

10. Opt Out

If you would like to opt out of Hate Alert communications, you may email info@hatealert.org. You will be removed from all of Hate Alert’s databases, which also include our business professional file and our digital cookie-based ads. This process is only intended to remove information available through Hate Alert and cannot remove the information from the third-party public sources, such as a white page directory. If you would like to only stop receiving digital cookie-based ads from our advertisers please opt-out by emailing info@hatealert.org. If you choose to opt out of these cookie-based ads, an opt-out cookie will be installed on your device to indicate that you have opted out. If you download the app on multiple devices or browsers, you must opt out from each browser and device. Opting out of Hate Alert’s cookie-based ads will not prevent you from seeing ads; it will only prevent customized and relevant ads from reaching you.

11. Information Pertaining to Children

Hate Alert does not collect or sell data from children under eighteen (18) years of age where Hate Alert is aware that the user is under eighteen (18) years of age.
